Melt the chocolate according to the directions on the bag. Do one color at a time so the chocolate doesn’t harden back up too quickly
Generously fill the molds and be sure to pay special attention to the sides.
Let the molds harden. Put them in the fridge if you want them to harden quickly.
After the chocolate firms up, add more to ensure there are no holes in the chocolate. Let it firm up again.
Once the chocolate is completely firm, gently take them out of the mold.
Heat up a skillet (or warm a plate in the microwave) and once it’s warm to the touch, place half of your hollowed egg (edge side down) and let the chocolate smooth out so you don’t get any jagged edges.
Add the candies to those half of the chocolate eggs.
Take the other half of the egg and flip it over to decorate the top.
Heat up white chocolate melts and pour into a Ziplock bag or piping bag. If using a Ziplock bag, snip off a tiny piece from the edge.
Swizzle the white chocolate all over the hollowed eggs. Then take your sprinkles and immediately add to the swizzle chocolate!
Once the chocolate is hard and the sprinkles are secure, repeat the process of smoothing down the edges by using the skillet or hot plate.
When the sides get a bit melted, quickly place on top of the half that’s filled with candy and press down gently. This will create a seal to form the hollowed chocolate egg.
Let them sit for a few minutes before enjoying!.
