Now I’m not saying I would give every kid that stopped by my house on Halloween night, however, creating these witches broom treat bags is a fun and creative way to add a spooky touch to your Halloween party!

These treat bags are not only adorable but also quite easy to make as they are literally made out of paper bags!

But for now, let’s gather your supplies and start making these Witches Broom Treat Bags!

What You’ll Need

1. You’ll need two brown paper lunch bags. You can find these at most craft stores, grocery stores, or online. 
2. Choose the candy or treats you want to fil the bags with. 
3. Decorative items like ribbon, a branch, rubber band (or a rubber hair tie), scissors, and a Halloween Tag.

How to Make Witches Broom Treat Bags

First, grab two paper bags and scissors. 

You’ll cut one into strips (1/2″-1″) about halfway down (see first and second picture) and then the second one will be cut all the way to the bottom.

Next, push out the bottom of the bag that’s cut all the way and place the other bag inside.

This way the bag will be double bagged. 

Put your bag of candy inside and secure with ribbon.

Optional: Add a cute Halloween tag to the bag.

Grab your branch and place it inside next to the bag of candy.

This will be the end of your broomstick. 

Gather up the cut up strips around the twig. Then use a rubber band or rubber hair tie to keep them in place.

Finally, add your ribbon and Halloween tag and you’re all done!
