This post is all about making strawberry and peach smoothies with ColonBroom!
Over the last few weeks, I had a serious talk with myself.
I have been focusing so much on my girls over the last five years that I’ve neglected ME!
So, I have decided to put my butt into gear and start a new health and wellness journey.
This journey includes joining a gym, eating healthier, sleeping better, getting my gut into check, and just overall taking care of myself.
I am proud to say that I joined a new gym, I’ve been eating healthier, and now I am focusing on gut health and decreasing my bloating.
One thing I’ve been using is ColonBroom.
What is ColonBroom?
ColonBroom is a supplement I’ve been taking daily to help with constipation, bloating, and overall, helps maintain a healthy gut (which is SO important).
It also helps you feel more regular if ya know what I mean. No one likes the feeling of heaviness in the gut.
YUCK.
It is also vegan, non-GMO and gluten-free!
How to Use ColonBroom?
There are one of two ways I’ve been using ColonBroom.
The first is to add 1 scoop to a glass of water and drink 1 hour before eating or 30 minutes after eating. Then drink an additional glass of water.
The second way is in a smoothie. I add one scoop to whatever fruit smoothie I decide to make and drink it.
Since I drink it twice a day, I’ll typically add it to a glass of water first thing in the morning and then make the ColomBroom smoothie later in the day.
It’s a great snack!
How to Make the Smoothie
Make note that this smoothie is vegan but you can make it non-vegan too.
First, get out the blender.
Then, chop up a whole peach and put it into the blender with a handful of strawberries.
Next, I added 1 scoop of ColonBroom. Fun fact, ColonBroom is a strawberry flavor so it made the smoothie taste even more delicious!
Add in 1/4 cup of vegan plain yogurt or any plain yogurt of your choice.
Lastly, add 1/2 a cup of water.
Blend, add to a glass, garnish with strawberries, and enjoy!
*You can do this with other fruits as well! Add a banana or even some pineapple, YUMMY!
Benefits of ColonBroom
ColonBroom’s key ingredient is psyllium husk which is a fiber that is essential in reducing constipation.
Since I’ve been taking it 2x a day, I have felt a lot less bloated and constipated. I feel lighter and dare I say it, might even be losing some weight?
