Make a healthy version of the classic Root Beer floats with this easy Ninja Creami recipe.
Back to back Ninja Creami recipes?
You bet!
I told you I was obsessed with my Ninja Creami and have been making recipes on the daily.
Just like this root beer float recipe…

All the links to the Ninja Creami + Accessories are found on my Amazon Shop Page here!
In the past I’ve made regular vanilla, regular chocolate, chocolate Reeses Cups, vanilla with M&M, vanilla with chocolate chip cookies, cookies n’ creme, and more!
Thats why this time I wanted to switch it up and make a root beer float.
Truth be told, I am not a big fan of soda but if I had to choose a soda flavor, it would be root beer.
I decided on OLIPOP’s Classic Root Beer flavor because OLIPOP is a probiotic soda and made with a blend of botanicals, plant fibers, and prebiotics.

In a nutshell, it’s way better for you than a regular soda but tastes even better (in my opinion).
Ingredients for this Root Beer Float Recipe
You need to make the vanilla ice cream first so you will need a few things.
Milk is the base of the ice cream.
I switch between using Fairlife 2% (which contains 13g of protein per serving) and unsweetened almond milk with Good Culture cottage cheese.
For this particular recipe I used Fairlife 2%.

The next ingredient is vanilla protein powder.
My favorite brand to use is Clean and Simple Eats because they contain no artificial colors, dyes, sweeteners, or added sugar.
Use code LEAHF on the Clean Simple Eats website for 10% off your order
Then you will need vanilla extract and vanilla pudding mix.
How to Make a Guilt-Free Root Beer Float
Take a Ninja Creami pint container and fill it up with all of the ingredients except the OLIPOP Classic Root Beer.

Froth until its all combined, but if you do not have a frother you can use a blender.
Freeze overnight or for at least 8 hours.

Take it out and put into the Ninja Creami then blend it on “Lite Ice Cream.”
Take it out again and check to see what it looks like. If it’s creamy then you can skip the next step.

If the ice cream looks crumbly like the second photo above, make a hole in the middle and add about 1-2 tsp. of milk.

Put back in the machine and hit “re-spin”.
Take it out when done and set aside.
Open up your OLIPOP and drink some down.

*We will talk about this little contraption in a bit.
Scoop the vanilla ice cream into the OLIPOP, add a straw and enjoy!
You’ll definitely have a little vanilla ice cream left over to enjoy on the side!

Note: Sometimes it overflows a little bit, so I recommend slowly adding the ice cream.
Soda Can Opener
This little gadget grabs and lifts the top from the can!
You can use this on beer too but I just HAD to get it for these recipes.
I highly recommend getting one because it leaves a smooth surface on the top so you don’t have to worry about cutting your lip!
Also, it makes the drinks look so much cuter. I mean just look at this root beer float recipe!

Other Ninja Creami Flavors to Try
I do have a few more Ninja Creami recipes I want to try.
As I’ve mentioned before, I plan on making a lemon cookie Ninja Creami, a hot chocolate Ninja Creami, and an apple pie (or apple cider donut) Ninja Creami.
I would love to try out sorbet flavors and other Ninja Creami drink flavors too.
If you want me to try one let me know in the comments!
