This post contains a recipe on how to make Rice Krispie Valentine Hearts!
There are three things I love about Valentine’s day.
- Flowers (my favorite Valentine’s Day gift)
- The color pink. You literally see it everywhere.
- Dessert!
- *BONUS* Spending time with my Hubby – although it’s mainly about the kids these days, ha.
Valentine’s Day just isn’t the same without dessert. I usually like my dessert to have some sort of chocolate with it and it doesn’t hurt to throw in a bit of pink into the mix.
Am I right?
My favorite chocolates are definitely dark chocolate Dove, Ghirardelli, and Lindor Chocolate Truffles.
Fun fact… Lindor Truffles has a Valentine assorted pack and it is delicious.

Since Valentine’s day is just around the corner, the only thing on my mind has been those Rice Krispie Valentine Hearts that I’ve been slightly obsessed with lately
Let’s be real though, I’ve been obsessed with all dessert covered in chocolate lately.
Major bonus points if it’s shaped like a heart.
So so so good.
So good in fact, that I feel as though I must share my pink chocolate dipped hearts dessert with you! They are such a perfectly sweet Valentine treat.
This recipe is quick and painless (kind of messy) and most of all… FUN to make with your little ones.
I get most of my cookie cutters from Michaels or Amazon. They have heart-shaped ones in all different sizes here.

I remember whipping up batches of Rice Krispie treats with my mom when I was little. It was such a fun way to hang out with her and we got to share some treats at the end.
This time around I was making these for my little one (and the hubby of course).
Ok… let’s be real, it was mainly for the hubby, ha!
Next time I’m going to try them with strawberry marshmallows instead of the regular ones. You can never add enough pink to a Valentine’s dessert recipe, am I right?
Aren’t these hearts the sweetest! I’m thinking this would be a cute idea to send to the girls classmates at school. Add in a lollipop stick, a little Valentine’s day card, and send these little goodies on their way!
You could also try dipping them in red candy melts and adding some adorable sprinkles.
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I make these Rice Krispie Valentine Hearts!

- Using a heart shaped cookie cutter, cut the Rice Krispies out.
- Melt the pink candy melts in a bowl and dip half of the heart into the bowl. Let it harden.
- Melt the white candy melts in a bowl and add to a mini ziplock bag. Cut a tiny hole on one corner and use it to swizzle the white chocolate melt over the heart. Let it harden then enjoy!

These look great and I’d really like to make them. However I live in Japan and don’t have a Rice Krispie box with instructions for how to make them. Shame they aren’t on your blog for me to follow.
