Where To Get the Ninja Creami
I got mine off of Amazon during Prime Day.
I can seriously say it’s been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.
All the links to the Ninja Creami + Accessories are found on my Amazon Shop Page here!
The Ninja Creami is used 3-4x a week in my household!
Why Did I get a Ninja Creami?
The reason I got a Ninja Creami machine is so I could make healthier versions of my favorite ice cream flavors.
A lot of people ask how is this ice cream healthier than others.
Well, mainly because it uses very few ingredients and these ingredients are high in protein.

Also, my version has no heavy whipping cream, no cream cheese, no sugar, just a few simple ingredients but tastes amazing.

What Kind of Protein Powder Should You Use?
My favorite protein powder brand is Clean Simple Eats.

I love it because the protein powder has 20g of protein, contains a digestive enzyme blend and is made up of natural ingredients.

They have tons of different flavors and even have sample flavors if you are not sure which one to try first.
Ingredients Needed for Ninja Creami Pistachio Ice Cream
MILK
For this particular recipe, I used Fairlife 2% (which contains 13g of protein per serving). This is a huge contribution as to why these recipes have such a high protein count.

However, you can use whatever milk you want; oat milk, coconut milk, almond milk, regular milk, but for this recipe I used Fairlife 2% milk.
PROTEIN POWDER
You will need vanilla protein powder and I highly recommend Clean Simple Eats.
It contains 20g of protein per serving (we use 1 serving here).

This protein powder also contains a digestive enzyme blend and is made up of natural ingredients.
SUGAR-FREE PUDDING MIX
To add a little sweetness into this protein ice cream we use sugar-free pudding mix.
In this case, we used pistachio.

I like to add 2 tbsp. but you can add more or less depending on how you like the flavor.
PISTACHIOS
Lastly, for the mix-in we used pistachios.
I took off the shells and chopped them up.
Don’t forget to save some and add it as a topping!
Make this Pistachio Ice Cream in the Ninja Creami
Take a Ninja Creami pint container and fill it up with all the ingredients except pistachios.
Next, take your frother and froth until all are combined. If you do not have a frother you can use a blender.

Freeze the mix for at least 8 hours but I typically like to do it overnight for about 24 hours so it can completely harden.
Take the container out and put it into the Ninja Creami and then blend on “Lite Ice Cream.”
Remove from the Ninja Creami and check to see what it looks like.
If it has a nice creamy texture then you can skip the next step. However, if the ice cream looks crumbly, make a hole in the middle and add about 1-2 tsp. of milk.

Put it back in the machine and hit “re-spin”.
When it’s done, add in some pistachios in the middle and hit “mix-ins”.

Top with some more chopped pistachios and enjoy!
Tips for Making the Best Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream
Protein Powder: Clean Simple Eats is the protein powder I would recommend using. It’s flavorful, filled with good ingredients, and super high in protein.
Blend It Well Before Freezing: You want to ensure you froth, whisk, or blend all ingredients until completely combined so you have a smooth and creamy base. No one wants lumpy ice cream!
Freeze Long Enough: Make sure you have the Ninja Creami mix frozen for no shorter than 8 hours but preferably give it a full 24 hours. This will give it the best consistency!

Run Pint Under Warm Water: Right before you mix it in the Ninja Creami, run the pint jar under warm water so the sides and bottom of the pint aren’t icy.
Re-Spin: Now, this doesn’t happen every time but if your ice cream is too hard or crumbly after the first spin, add 1-2 tbsp. of milk and respin to give it a more creamy texture. It makes such a difference but so many forget this part.
Serve Immediately: The ice cream has the best texture right after it’s been mixed. If you want to have leftovers be sure to run under warm water and spin again before eating.
