You guys…
Guess what? I finally worked out yesterday for the first time since maternity leave. To put it into perspective, Luna is 7.5 months old.
YIKES!
Rosie had a playdate this morning with two friends and when we got home I put her down for naptime. Then, I thought to myself… whoa, maybe I should workout? Besides, when do I ever get a chance for both of my girls to nap at the same time? Even if it was only for a short period of time.
So, I did 3 sets of workouts, one was legs (squats/lunges), the second was arms (biceps) and third was a little plyometrics workout (jumping jacks and high knees). As a result of this 30-minute workout, I am sore as heck.
Which brings me to my next “Girl Boss” interview…
Let’s talk about my beautiful friend, Janelle.
Janelle is an Advocare Independent Distributor and she focuses a lot on health and wellness (something I am trying to get back into). She is also a mother of two beautiful girls right around the same age as Rosie and Luna so we get to see each other pretty often! In addition to her being in great shape, she is an amazing mother and the most kind-hearted person I know.

Why did you decide to be a part of it?
I have always loved devoting time to personal fitness and wellness. It became a passion of mine to help others through their own journey.
The fulfillment was unreal and really blew me away at how much of an impact I had just coming alongside someone and believing in themselves and their goals.
My sister in law had shed weight, inches, toned up and felt incredible when she was on a consistent regimen of products.
But, most importantly what drew me to AdvoCare was the way she raved about the feeling she had while on the product, a sense of well being, and the community surrounding her which brought her such amazing support through her health journey.
What is your favorite product by Advocare and as a very busy mom of two, which products would you recommend to other busy moms?
Oh goodness. By far SPARK! Especially these days.
In my cupboards, you will find stick packets and canisters in all flavor assortments! I LIVE by Spark now chasing my two little girls.
When I first got into AdvoCare and began sharing, I felt such a passion for sharing products with fitness and wellness goals in mind.
However, now with my two girls, I am fully committed to helping fellow mamas feel their ultimate energy levels while managing their busy worlds!
For someone who wants to start using AdvoCare, what products would you recommend to them first?
We all get a little fluffy during the holidays.
With the new year in mind, I believe everyone should do a gentle cleansing to get their gut in order. I fully believe in getting your health journey kicked off from the inside out.
Within AdvoCare’s Wellness line there is a 10 day System which helps rid your body of waste and absorb key nutrients and improve digestion.
Let’s Get Personal!
Favorite Cocktail:
Does Wine count? HA!! A great big, bold glass of Cab Sav is my absolute favorite!! If I had to choose a cocktail, a Moscow Mule or Dark and Stormy is my go to!
Favorite Food:
Anything from a local Italian spot, Ciao! We love it there and it’s a delicious date night spot. Our go-to for an appetizer is the Oyster Rockefeller! Shh..it’s on the “Chef’s Private Menu”! 😉
Favorite Workout:
Any class! I am motivated and inspired by instructors pushing me and amazing music. I LOVE a high energy Spin class, weight training, yoga, barre, pilates, plyometrics, you name it!
Favorite Recipe:
I actually have two! I have tons and tons of girlfriends who have recently had babies. It’s always been an absolute blessing to visit that precious bundle and my lovely girlfriend and bring over a baked lasagne.
It is a family recipe and I always make it with love for the new mama bear!
I love cooking for others and recently have really dove into hosting larger groups, so cooking more so for an army seems to be what I gravitate towards. 🙂 I also LOVE my one pan “Tuscan Tortellini”. This dish is easy cleanup and hubby AND toddler love it.
Triple win!
I make this dish at least every other week.
