I have waited for three months to write this exciting post about some big news and our blog has only been up for two months! Silly, I know.
Well, here it goes…
Baby #2 is on the way!
It is so amazing to finally type those words after being patient for so long.
You would think it would be easier to stay quiet since we’ve gone through this before but no. It is much MUCH harder.
This pregnancy has been very similar to how I felt with Rosie. I have had zero morning sickness…truth be told, I even feel better this time around than the first time! I eat ice cream, pizza and fajitas like it’s my job (with the occasional salad here and there) and honestly, I don’t even feel pregnant!

However, the one thing that’s different is the hair loss. With Rosie, my hair never shed and I mean NEVER. With this little nugget, my hair is constantly shedding. Definitely not my favorite part of round two but it’s not so bad.
The most common questions I have been getting –
-
Will you find out the gender?
Uh yes!!! I am a planner so I like to plan things like my kid’s wardrobe and nursery.
-
Do you want a boy or a girl?
I know people hate this answer but I truly do not care. I just want a healthy baby. Plus… I already got my baby girl 🙂

When and how did you find out you were pregnant?
I found out on September 15th in a grocery store bathroom.
Isn’t that lovely?
Earlier in the week when I had a glass of wine it just did not taste right and that is when I had a strong feeling I was pregnant because I had the same reaction with Rosie. That Wednesday I thought I got my period but it only lasted for a day. Fast forward to Friday and I was out and about that evening and was planning on meeting my husband and some friends for appetizers and a drink or two. I had a gut feeling that I needed to take a test and since I was meeting everyone at the restaurant I stopped to buy
a testthree tests. So, I proceeded to take one and the faintest positive line appeared. I was shaking with excitement.
I kept the other two tests and took them the next two days just to be sure before telling my husband the good news.

How did you tell your husband?
We were at an Animal Park with Rosie and right before we left I told him that Rosie and I had made him a little gift.
So, he sat down with her and proceeded to read the card we got him (he was so confused). Then I handed him a little box and when he opened it he saw the positive pregnancy test inside.
His reaction was of pure happiness and excitement and it definitely made me tear up.
We are all so excited to be a family of four and I cannot wait to continue sharing my journey with you all!
Xoxo,
Leah
P.S. We bought the cutest “I Am a Big Sister” book from Amazon and the Radio Flyer Wagon was a gift from her Pop Pops. We use it all the time and Rosie loves it!
