Want to learn how to make Holiday Cookie Gift Sacks?
Well, you came to the right place!
Before we dive into that, have you purchased and/or made all of your gifts yet? I am starting to do my holiday shopping and I am so excited!
Although I love to shop, sometimes I think a handmade gift is more fun to do. Also, it’s definitely more personal (and let’s be honest, budget-friendly).
Since I have kids in daycare, I wanted to do a fun and easy DIY gift. Ya know… to thank my kid’s teachers during the holiday season. This gift is so cute and SO easy to make.
I found this awesome site called Celebrate Creativity and fell in love with her Sugar Cookie Gift Sacks… so much so that I decided to re-create my own kind of Holiday Cookie Gift Sacks.
Now, in her awesome post, she decided to sew her own bags.
Mad kudos to her but with toddlers running wild I decided I had absolutely zero time to sew my own bags.

So, instead of sewing our own bags I decided to buy them.
I found these adorable sacks at Target but unfortunately, I cannot find the same type anymore!
However, I did find other cute gift sacks here, here and here that you can decorate. I bought our cranberries, greenery, twine, spoons and cinnamon sticks and got to work!
First, I added my delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies, then I added a Starbucks gift card inside because… who doesn’t need want coffee when working with a bunch of toddlers?!
Once those were added, I glued the leaves, berries and cinnamon sticks together and tied them to the bag with twine.
Note: I was going to use the wooden spoons as decor but decided against it.
How cute and festive are they?!
Easy, cute and delicious.
