The Ninja Creami might be my best friend.

I literally love making new recipes in it almost every day.

It’s almost like it’s a guilty pleasure of mine.

I got it on Prime Day this past July and I can seriously say it’s been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

One fact you may not know about me is that I have a serious obsession with ice cream.

All the links to the Ninja Creami + Accessories are found on my Amazon Shop Page here!

It’s my favorite food.

I worked at an ice cream store for four years (pretty much throughout high school) and had unlimited amounts of ice cream.

So dangerous, I know.

Why Did I get a Ninja Creami?

The reason I got a Ninja Creami machine is so I could make healthier versions of my favorite ice cream.

I love it so much because I can eat ice cream practically every night. After all, it’s healthier than regular ice cream.

When you add in protein powder and other special ingredients, it increases the amount of protein you are eating and it contains less sugar and other icky ingredients that ice cream has.

We all know ice cream tastes good but we also know it isn’t the best for you.

The Ninja Creami recipes I make are so close to the real thing that they’re just worth getting!

I’ve made pumpkin pie ice cream, cookies ‘n creme ice cream, hot chocolate ice cream, and even a root beer float!

Now that it’s almost winter, I wanted to create some delicious winter ice cream recipes using the Ninja Creami.

Let’s talk about this protein-filled gingerbread ice cream recipe!

Ingredients Needed for Gingerbread Ice Cream

You will need nine ingredients to make up this healthy gingerbread ice cream.

First, you will need milk.

I switch between using Fairlife 2% (which contains 13g of protein per serving) and unsweetened almond milk with Good Culture cottage cheese.

You can use whatever milk you want; oat milk, coconut milk, almond milk, regular milk, but for this recipe I used Fairlife 2% milk.

Next, pick out a vanilla protein powder you like to use.

My favorite protein powder brand is Clean and Simple Eats.

I love it because the protein powder has 20g of protein, contains a digestive enzyme blend and is made up of natural ingredients.

You will also need a few spices from your spice cabinet.

I’m talking about cinnamon, ground ginger, ground cloves, allspice, and nutmeg.

You will also need vanilla extract and brown sugar.

I prefer using the Truvia version of brown sugar but any type will do.

Gingerbread Ice Cream Recipe with the Ninja Creami

Take a Ninja Creami pint container and fill it up with all the ingredients.

Next, take your frother and froth until all are combined. If you do not have a frother you can use a blender.

Freeze the mix overnight or for at least 8 hours to harden completely.

Take it out and put it into the Ninja Creami and then blend on “Lite Ice Cream.”

Take it out and check to see what it looks like. If it’s creamy then you can skip the next step.

If the ice cream looks crumbly, make a hole in the middle and add about 1-2 tsp. of milk.

Put it back in the machine and hit “re-spin”.

When it’s done, take it out and enjoy!

Trust me when I say, this makes the creamiest, most delicious ice cream ever.

It’s definitely one of my favorites I’ve made so far.

Other Ninja Creami Flavors to Try

As always, there are a few more Ninja Creami recipes up my sleeve!

I plan on making a peppermint ice cream ninja creami, a maple ninja creami, and possibly a few other wintery flavors as well.

Let me know if you want me to create some more recipes for you and I would be happy to share!
