Can you believe Fourth of July is tomorrow?!
I absolutely love celebrating the Fourth of July for two reasons. The first is because it is my parent’s wedding anniversary and second because I love fireworks!
We took our kids to go see fireworks this past Friday and Rosie absolutely loved them. I remember being a kid and not liking how loud they were so I was a bit worried about how she would react. This girl is one tough cookie and enjoyed every second of the show!
Today we plan to head over to the Country Club where I work and watch the fireworks from there. But before we go there, I wanted to make some amazing Fourth of July Oreos.
Fourth of July doesn’t just mean watching fireworks, it also means BBQ’s and cookouts, playing in the pool, and just enjoying time with family and friends.
This year I decided to whip up yummy Oreo lollipops. Just three ingredients (because I never have time anymore) and easy to make.
I literally made these with Luna wrapped up on me in a Boba wrap because she likes to be swaddled and held ALL THE TIME. This mamma needed to have her hands free!
I decided on double stuffed Oreos because they are oh-so-delicious but you can choose any flavor you want! Next time I will try the peanut butter ones!
I am obsessed with Candy Melts. I use them in so many recipes!
Not gonna lie, I was trying to separate the Oreos and that was definitely the hardest part as so many broke! Maybe I was just impatient but I ended up breaking about half of the box so that gave me an excuse to nibble on some. Am I right?
My cat wanted to be in the picture… or she just wanted some Oreos. Can’t blame her!
What are your plans for the Fourth of July? Mine will consist of BBQ, cornhole, Fireworks and of course…
these Fourth of July Oreos.

Fourth of July Oreos
Ingredients
- 1 box Oreos I used double stuffed
- 1 bag White Candy Melts
- 1 bag Red Candy Melts
- 1 bag Dark Blue Candy Melts
- 1 tsp Assorted Sprinkles
Instructions
-
Break apart the Oreo cookies.
-
Melt some white candy melt and stick the top part of a lollipop stick into it.
-
Immediately place on the center of the Oreo cream cookie side and sandwich it with the other half of the Oreo. This will help the lollipop stick stay in place.
-
Put the Oreos in the freezer for 5 minutes so the candy melt can harden.
-
Melt other colored candy melts and dip the Oreo into them.
-
Decorate and enjoy!
