Do you ever feel like you’re not drinking enough water or feel dehydrated? I used to carry a gallon of water around and drink the whole thing in a day. That was back in my competition days… another post, another time.
Now, I need to set a timer to remind myself when I should be drinking more water.
Boy have the times changed!
I don’t really set a timer but it’s not a bad idea, right?
There are so many benefits to drinking water.
This brings me to talk about my favorite water bottle… the Hydro Flask.
But for real, it’s so pretty to look at, right?
Why do I love this product so much?
How can I not? It keeps my drinks super hot for up to 6 hours or super cold up to 24 hours thanks to the double wall vacuum insulation.
I feel as though I am drinking more water quickly (super efficient). Of course, my favorite reason is that it’s an attractive water bottle, easy to sip AND it uses non-toxic BPA-free plastics & 18/8 food-grade stainless steel. Love it.
Not only do they have the 24oz Hydro Flask, but they also have a ton of different styles and colors.
I have been determined to figure out ways that I can drink more water effortlessly throughout the day. As a mom who’s always on the go, I needed simple methods that would keep me on track!
1. Infuse your water.
Add a splash of lemon, some mint leaves or my favorite… some sliced strawberries and fresh basil! As part of my morning routine, I love my hot water with lemon and I really love it after a nice ice roll.
2. Use a straw.
Often times when I am feeling lazy, I use a straw. I feel like I drink water quicker that way. Apparently, silicone straws come highly recommended (think BPA free, reusable and kid friendly).
3. Take a water bottle with you wherever you go.
I always have a water bottle in my purse, at my desk and by the side of my bed. It reminds me to take sips throughout the day.

4. Eat your water.
Munch on cucumber slices, watermelon or celery. See a list of water-rich foods here.
5. Use an app or set a timer to remind yourself.
6. Prefer sparkling water? Get a SodaStream!
I have friends who swear by it. When I was pregnant with Luna, I craved bubbles in my drink (weird). I would always aim for sparkling water or club soda with lemon. YUM.
There you have it!
