Surprise your kids with the ultimate Disney trip reveal using this fun and magical Disney scavenger hunt! They’ll follow clues and solve riddles so watch their excitement grow as they uncover the big surprise.
In just a few weeks we will be going back to Disney and Universal and the best part is that the kids don’t even know!
The girls and my husband have been to Disney World once and I’ve been lucky enough to visit both Disney World and Disneyland twice.

Since our oldest is competing in the Youth Summit cheer competition in Tampa, we decided to turn it into a little family trip and spend a few extra days at the parks.
And honestly, surprising them is one of my favorite things to do!

Since Easter is right before we leave to Florida I figured I could incorporate it into the Easter egg hunt somehow.
Just keep in mind, I’m going to be talking about the Disney Scavenger Hunt but Universal does get thrown in there too!
Supplies Needed for Creating the Disney Scavenger Hunt
There are a few simple things you will need.
First you need a graphic design website to create your templates (unless you want to use my free ones).

I love Canva because you can literally design anything from business cards to Ebooks! This is what I use to make the templates. You can get the free version or the paid version.

You will also need printer paper and scissors to print off and cut the clues.
We are doing both a standard Easter egg hunt and the Disney scavenger hunt.
The regular Easter egg hunt will have the standard colored eggs while the Disney scavenger hunt will be with golden eggs.

I got the golden eggs from Walmart.
Once the girls go through all the clues, at the end there will be an Easter basket filled with cute Disney and Universal things.

I went on Canva and created some super fun clues.

Next, print them off and cut them up.
They are basically the size of a business card size so it worked well when hiding them in eggs.

Roll each one of them up and place them inside the 10 golden eggs.
Then hide them around the house!

We plan to hide the colorful eggs outside and the golden eggs inside.
At the end of the scavenger hunt the girls will get their Disney Easter baskets filled with goodies and also find out about their trip!
Supplies Needed for Creating the Disney Easter Baskets
I loved creating the Disney Easter baskets.
The idea of these baskets came from Kathy Ibrahim on Instagram and you can find how she created her version here.

I got all the supplies from Hobby Lobby and they are just so cute!
You can grab all the items for the Easter basket below:
Mini Tote Bags – These come in teal, pink and purple. Keep in mind they are mini tote bags so they are kind of small but perfect for what I had in mind!

Letter Iron-On & Sticker Patch – I use these all the time for crafts! They have different colors and sizes and are so easy to either iron or stick on.

Pastel Sticker Patches – Create your own fun basket with these cute pastel sticker patches! Hobby Lobby has tons of fun options to play around with.

How to Create the Easter Baskets
First take the tote bags and lay it flat.
Grab the letter iron-on and sticker patch and place it in the middle of the tote bag.
Then take the other patch stickers and place them wherever you want to.

Make sure to hold firmly on the stickers so they adhere to the tote bag.
I really love how these turned out!
These little tote bags don’t have to only be used at Easter time but they can use them every day!

I know the kids are going to love them.
What is Inside the Disney Easter Bags
As I mentioned earlier, we are focusing on Disney and Universal themed gifts so I decided to grab a few outfits for them so we don’t have to stress about what to pack when we go to Florida.

Below is a list of a few things I got them:
Leopard Print Ears (we are going to Animal Kingdom when we visit Disney)
