If you are looking for a yummy high-protein breakfast, try these cloud eggs!
I am a big breakfast girl.
Eggs, turkey sausage, avocado toast, I love all the things!
Funny thing is, I love making breakfast at home but I am not a big fan of going out to breakfast.
You’ll never catch me ordering a stack of pancakes or French toast.

Instead, when I go out to eat I will order either an avocado toast, breakfast bowl, or a yogurt parfait.
Don’t ask me why, I’ve just always been that way.

I do however, love to try new breakfast items and when I came across a cloud eggs recipe on TikTok, I knew I had to try it for myself.
Eggs are a great breakfast food because they are high in protein and easy to make!
What Ingredients Are Needed for the Cloud Eggs Recipe?
The best part about this recipe is that you only need ONE ingredient, eggs!
You will need a few bowls and a pan for cooking too. Also, if you want to add some toppings or added ingredients to the egg you will need to gather that too.

For this particular recipe, I kept it simple for you guys so you could see just how easy it is to make!
How to Make Cloud Eggs
First thing you need to do is separate the egg whites from the egg yolks.

It’s ok if the egg yolks end up breaking because trust me, it’s happened to me.
Next, beat the egg whites until they have fluffy peaks.

Grab a spoon and mix the egg whites up just a little bit and then plop two piles out on a baking sheet and put a hole in the middle.

Gently place the egg yolk in the middle of the egg whites.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 10-12 minutes or until the egg whites start turning golden brown.
I sprinkled some salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes on top and drizzled a little bit of sriracha.
It pairs well with crusty bread or you can even eat it by yourself.

Other Things You Can Add to the Cloud Eggs
A way to add some flavor to your cloud eggs are to incorporate some yummy ingredients inside the actual egg whites.
Add things like parmesan, chives, garlic powder, salt/pepper, or bacon to it.
Want it a little sweeter? I heard adding some drops of liquid stevia and sprinkle of cinnamon does the trick!

How Long Do Cloud Eggs Last?
Unlike boiled eggs, this recipe isn’t one that you can make ahead of time.
If you have 15 minutes to make breakfast, go for it and make it right before you eat it.
Just don’t plan on prep cooking cloud eggs to save for later.

What I Pair With My Cloud Eggs
These have definitely become one of my favorite breakfast items to make.
I pair it with some sour dough bread from Trader Joes or a homemade artisan bread.
Trust me, it is so good.
Sometimes I also like to add a little bit of fruit but you will definitely never catch me without my coffee!
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!
