My husband and I just celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary on May 3 of this year and 15 years of dating this past June.
We met in high school and started dating right when he was graduating. Not necessarily the smartest decision since he left off to college just a few short months later but it all worked out.
He ended up not liking school and went straight into the workforce back at home.
I cannot believe how fast time has flown and now we have added two rambunctious little girls to the mix.
Although we don’t get to celebrate much besides birthdays and Christmas these days (it’s all about the kiddos), we still try to make time for each other. Whether it be with family or just a few moments of chit chat before bed.
We literally haven’t gone on a date in over 2 years until just recently. He and I definitely need to start going on more dates!

THE SWEETEST ANNIVERSARY GIFTS
Engraved Necklace
Giving your significant other an engraved necklace from Capsul is just the sweetest thing.
I actually have an engraved necklace with Rosie and Luna’s name on it.
Definitely one of my favorite jewelry pieces!
His and Her Robes
These Plush Necessities robes are super comfortable and definitely a must-have for a spa night in with the hubby.
Treat each other to these cute robes, champagne, chocolate-dipped strawberries and a massage.
We all know we need it.
Skylight Frame
This frame is amazing and it had to go on my anniversary gifts list!
- Take a photo on your phone
- Email it to your unique Skylight email address
- It’ll appear on the Skylight
Since we take so many photos, we love to upload ours to the Skylight Frame!
Canvas Print
I recently did a little photo-shoot with my girls while in quarantine and ordered a huge print from CanvasPop so my husband and I could display it in our house.
The quality is amazing, the service was great and it looks beautiful up on the wall in our house.
You could even enlarge a wedding photo as an anniversary gift to your significant other!
I highly recommend using CanvasPop when ordering photos for your house.
Date Night in a Box
Being stuck at home isn’t always fun but why not gift each other a Date Night in a Box?
This custom-curated date night gets delivered to your door monthly so you can sit back in your PJ’s and have a fun date night at home!
Since we still shouldn’t be going out anyway, this is SUCH a great idea.
Wine Subscription
If I was ever gifted a wine subscription I would be ECSTATIC (hint to the hubby). I mean, who doesn’t want a box of delicious wines?
Explore new flavors and try new wines by shopping at Splash Wines.
A great place to put together an amazing case for the two of you!
Virtual Cooking Class
Private cooking classes via Skype. What a great idea!
You can video call a chef and learn step-by-step how to cook with them right in your own kitchen.
They offer 11 different types of cuisines you can cook with ranging from American all the way to Hungarian and Moroccan.
YUM.
Cashmere Blanket
I have one of these blankets and let me just tell you, these are SO SOFT.
Get them for your significant other as an anniversary gift but be sure to always steal the covers. or in this case, the cashmere blanket.
Framed Personalized Song Lyrics
One of the sweetest anniversary gifts you can get for your one-year wedding anniversary.
Get your wedding song lyrics printed and hung on the wall!
Flowers
Who doesn’t love flowers?
Sure, flowers may be more of a “girl’s thing” BUT I have friends who get their husband flowers all the time.
For someone who’s a fan of peonies, you have to shop at Ode A La Rose, their peonies are gorgeous!
Wife and Husband Mugs
Did you catch my blog about my favorite coffee mugs?
If not, you gotta check it out here. It’s a good one!
Although my husband isn’t a coffee drinker, he and I do drink a lot of tea at night. Yes, he may have bourbon in it but who cares, am I right?
These matching mugs are super cute for an anniversary gift!
Pajama Shirt for Her
Ok so, I have this pajama shirt and I put it on the list for you because your husband just HAS to get this for you as a gift.
It’s incredibly soft, cool to the skin, and feels like you’re sleeping naked.
Seriously, it’s the next best thing.
I am loving these anniversary gifts and I know you will too!
