My husband and I will be celebrating our 8 year wedding anniversary on May 3rd of this year and 17 years of dating this upcoming June.
We met in high school and started dating right when he was graduating. Not necessarily the best decision since he left off to college just a few short months later but it all worked out!
He ended up not liking school and went straight into the workforce back at home.
I cannot believe how fast time has flown and now we have added two rambunctious little girls to the mix.
Although we don’t get to celebrate much besides birthdays and Christmas these days (it’s all about the kiddos), we still try to make time for each other. Whether it be with family or just a few moments of chit-chat before bed.
