Halloween is just under two months away and I’m already scurrying around trying to set up decorations, pick out costumes, plan our Halloween party and more. So when it comes time to make fun and easy Halloween desserts I almost always turn to Oreos.
I actually have a few Oreo desserts in mind so keep an eye on the blog for the next few weeks. They are some spooky sweet and fun treats!
If you’d rather watch a video on how I made these Oreo Spiders scroll down to the bottom for a quick video tutorial.
These creepy-crawly confections are a breeze to create.
If you have kids, have them help make these with you. It’s that easy and plus, it’ll be way more fun!
The best part about this recipe is that it really only takes four ingredients to make. I typically like sharing desserts with five ingredients or less because I feel like anyone can do it!

Now it’s time to get to work.
What Ingredients Do I Need?
Like I said, all you need are four ingredients to make these Oreo Spiders.
- Oreos (double-stuffed is preferred)
- Pretzel Sticks
- Edible Adhesive (or melted chocolate)
- Googly Eye Sprinkles
How to Make Oreo Spiders
First, you grab some Oreos.
You can use any flavor you like but I recommend using Double Stuffed Oreos because there’s enough filling inside so the pretzels go in easy.
Take four pretzel sticks and break them in half. You will need four legs per side.
Stick four pretzel sticks into each side of the Oreos to make the legs. Make sure they are pushed in enough so they don’t fall out.
Once that is done, grab some edible adhesive (I got mine for $6 off of Amazon) or you can use melted chocolate.
Add two drops onto the Oreo then place your googly sprinkle eyes on them.
Let them dry.
That’s it! Now you have the perfect Oreo Spider.
I plan on making these for my Halloween party this year (requested by my kids).
These Oreo Spiders are the perfect blend of spooky and sweet, making them a hit at any Halloween gathering!
