I can’t believe it almost been a month since my little girl was born.
It is crazy how fast time flies! Two more months of maternity leave and I’m back to work (boo).
Every day seems to be a blur of feedings, diaper changes and cleaning up after two little ones. I wouldn’t trade it for the world but a full night of sleep would be fantastic!
However, Luna sleeps in 4-hour spans so I consider myself quite lucky.
One good perk of having a newborn is that I am no longer pregnant… in other words, I can have a cocktail or two!
Since its summertime, I wanted something bubbly and fruity… something to enjoy out in the heat of summer and it doesn’t hurt that it is pretty to look at. I give you, Raspberry Sorbet Champagne.
Ok ok… I know this Barefoot Bubbly Pink Moscato isn’t a “new thing” anymore even though the bottle I have says so. Just remember, I haven’t been able to drink it in almost 10 months so to me, it’s new.
To be honest, you could probably do this with any flavored sorbet however, I may not recommend trying it with lemon but a peach sorbet sounds just as delicious!
Right after you scoop the sorbet and pour the champagne be sure to serve it immediately or it just becomes one big sorbet “milkshake”.
Trust me, this Raspberry Sorbet Champagne is the perfect drink for a summer day out with some girlfriends!
