Let’s talk about beauty, shall we?
Both of my girls are now really getting into playing makeup. Whether they put it on themselves, on me, or on each other. They are having a blast!
But for me… I can’t even remember the last time I went out and bought new makeup for myself. Except for when I run out of something. Ohhh mom life.
For the last SEVEN years, it’s been a little something this…
- Shower when I have time
- Wear makeup when I have time
- Paint my nails NEVER – well… maybe my toenails once in awhile
- Brush my hair once in a while
- Curl my hair almost never
- Ice roll my face 1-2x a week unless too much wine the night before, then I’ll do it more
However, these sacrifices are so worth it. I just love my girls!

1. I am not someone who wears a lot of lipstick but I am a big fan of these matte lipsticks.
2. My girls love to paint their nails but I am hesitant on what kind of nail polish they are allowed to use. So, I love using Piggy Paint because it’s water based, and non-toxic!
